If you have recently given birth and your child is on breastfeeding, then some women do not get their periods back till they keep on breastfeeding their child. Breastfeeding elevates hormones in the body which can cause irregular cycles.
Although it is very rare but is one of the deadliest cancer for women. Missed periods doesn’t mean ovarian cancer but it can be a possible symptom. So if you are missing your periods regularly, consult your doctor.
If you are sexually active and have ruled out all other possibilities. Ouch! Might be you are pregnant. You may go and take your pregnancy test.
But if you do not have a sexual partner, then chill. Don’t freak out. Stress will only delay your periods. You will get them soon.
You can miss your periods for many reasons but if there is no severe symptom better to wait for your periods. They will come back soon but if you have missed three consecutive cycles and are feeling period like cramps but no periods, then consult your doctor immediately.
